Christmas party fashion story

In the paper today i saw this amazing fashion shoot. I covet almost every item! The styling is fabulous, and now I'm tempted to get my hair cut short like the model hmmm. This shoot sums up a lot of what I'm attracted to in fashion, vintage styling, feather, fur, sparkly things, just over-the-top gorgeousness. I think the fascinator with ears is just fab. Overall though its the multiple layers or jewellery and headpieces as well as the gorgeous vintage What Katie Did lingerie that make it. www.whatkatiedid.com

Girl in the bath

This illustration was inspired by a photo taken by a Brighton based photographer called Darkdaze. His work is amazing a real blend of high and 'low' fashion- definitely worth a look. His work is shown in a gallery above this huge junk shop in the north lanes if you ever visit.

My take on the picture is slightly more muted, with only one girl, but the roll top bath still brings some quirkiness i reckon. Thoughts?

seeing as it's my first day

i thought i might shove another piccy up.

This one is inspired by general imaginings of Paris in the springtime, I've never been so this is my interpretation of love and the 'tour Eiffel'. I love the black and white photograph of the girl juxtaposed with the lips, which are primarily taken from modern lipstick adverts.

This illustration reminds me somewhat of Alexander McQueen, with his obsession with the body and deathliness. The body is vintage paper with all the rest from magazines i found around.
